25 books 25 days
I've procrastinated too long on preparing for my upcoming comprehensive exam. So, this morning, Joshua - the master of all scheduling - figured out that in order for me to get all the books read, reserve a week for articles, and have a week to review and write before the comp, I need to read 25 books in 25 days!!! That's right. A book a day for 25 days. Oh - and I still have to do all of the reading for my classes, keep up with my TA duties, and finish massive project for the professor I work for. Oh - and I have to maintain sanity. Oh - and visit friends (which is a very good thing) and go to Milwaukee over half of my Spring break (for purposes that will remain undisclosed to the readers until further notice). So, I started today. I read one whole book in one sitting. It took roughly 3.5 hours. That means I have to find 3.5 extra hours in every day for the next 25 days. Ideas??
I'm concluding this post with a picture. If I pull this off, I will feel amazing - like the woman pictured below. If I don't pull it off....well, I have to, so let's not go there.

Mair,
Pretty big task... but YOU CAN DO IT! Many people have gone before you and they did it, so you can too!
And you know we will be praying for your strength and sanity as well.
Nice! After these 25 days are up, I fully expect you to either change your blog or change the title back to SociologicalImagination. My google homepage has read "blue stockings" for a few weeks without any followup from the rest of your blog, and it's darn confusing.
Also, see if your scheduling genius of a husband can find one single solitary hour a week to spend emailing me.
Red - the blog changes are coming. Hold on a little longer. As for the email from Joshua, I can't promise anything. Hopefully that will come soon, too.
