Great Advice

So, I sat down just now to being writing a research design for my qualitative methods class. Since I haven't done this in awhile and I didn't want to ask the professor for a synopsis of what she expects, I found some articles on writing research designs. At the end of one of the articles was a list: Common Mistakes in Proposal Writing. There were 12 items on the list...here is an exact quote from #12:

"12. Slopping Writing"

I hear Uhle saying his distinctive, "Come On!" and just can't get over the irony...

I uttered a strangled cry of exasperation when I read this. I think I scared the cat. My cat is mad at you, but I LOVE YOU! haha

look, he doesn't have a monopoly on the "Come On!" We all stole that from Dr. Thaddues Brower, who takes life much more...forcfully...that the rest of us.

And sloppy writing is bad, you know.

True comment from the redness, although I don't use that enough over here. My favourite phrase that really gets them here is "good to go." They have no idea what I am saying!

Just to show how stupid I am (or how much of what we read is actually just constructed by our minds before we finish the sentance) I didn't get it at first. But then I thought it was funnied.
