25

That's right ladies and gentlemen, I am now 25 years old. Strange. As dear friends pointed out last night, I am now old enough to get an insurance discount, rent cars, and run for the house of representatives. I would say my life is pretty much complete. HA!

All in all, it was a great birthday. Joshua and I had a wonderful, relaxing dinner at a chic restaurant here called Zocolo. Yummy delights were everywhere! This weekend, we are embarking on my birthday surprise trip to Vermont! My darling husband knew I've always wanted to see New England in the fall - and have especially been longing for true autumn as of late. I think it will be a wonderful, relaxing weekend, if I can keep myself from overwhelming thoughts of all I have to accomplish by Wednesday next. I keep telling myself - "yes, but when I'm 70, I won't remember having to do a content analysis project for SC, finish BW's book in time to write a sufficient review, grading 101 projects to the best of my ability. I will remember a wonderful trip to Vermont with my husband when we were young and free..." So, it is off to Vermont to soak in the chill, enjoy the beautiful fall leaves, and spend quality time with the love of my life.

Content analysis, reading, and grading can wait until Monday.

Mair - happy birthday! Awesome! Was the restaurant as good as that Thai place we went to? Have you been back there yet? Do the waiters still wait along the wall watching you eat? Hope you had a great time! I miss you and Josh, and Moses, a little. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!

Thanks, guys! Oh, Hans, you are so culturally-insensitive. It was an Indian restaurant!!! :o) And no, unfortunately we've haven't been back. It was so good though...hopefully soon. I guess we did eat Thai with you once, and then afterwards we found out you hate it. Maybe you were confused.
