Wild Thanksgiving

Joshua and I spent Thanksgiving here:

.

It was beautiful. Neither of us had been to Montana before and found the scenery gorgeous! I thought Montana was a little bit weird though, and don't really know why people live there. But, since the in-laws saw fit to move there, we saw fit to visit. I guess what is weird about it is that there is just no rhyme or reason to anything. There's a Hilton hotel plopped down right behind a lumber yard. People don't understand right of ways on the road, and there are even some four way intersections where no one has a stop. Strange. Also, there are drive up coffee stands all over the place. Supposedly, the rationale is that it's too cold to get out of your car, but it didn't go below about 40 during the day while we were there. So....I think it's because people who live in Montana live there for a reason - to get away from everyone and everything.

Anyway, Thanksgiving was a nice break from the business of life. It was good to sleep in a bit, go to the movies on dates with my husband, and just hang out. But, now that I'm back, I'm busy again! To that end, I have to go grade more papers.

Stay tuned.

that's gorgeous - what a great spot.

I heard they don't have speedlimits either. Sounds awesome.
