Another busy weekend arrives
There will probably be another small hiatus in my posting, as this weekend finds us with another visitor. Our dear friend, K. Flanagan Dee will be joining us in Charlottesville for a few days. We both really excited for her visit. I expect that it will be very much fun and a time of mutual edification for all of us! So, tonight, we are spending the night with Josh's parents in order that our trip to Dulles to pick up Kell is quicker in the morning. It should be a good time as well.
This week, Josh and I have both been exhausted. Summer has been a whirlwind of activities and I think we are winding down. Speaking of whirlwinds, on Tuesday there was a very short, but serious and damaging storm that ripped through the Ville. Our area was left unharmed, but thousands of city residents were without power (and some still are). There were trees down everywhere, flash floods, etc. Thus, yesterday's clean-up attempts made traffic more horrendous than usual (if that can even be imagined!). If you want to see pictures of the event, look here.
Sorry this post is pretty boring. I have to go to work now. Have a great weekend everyone!
